ACCAN – Allegheny County Clean Air Now
ACCAN is the successor organization to the Neville Island Good Neighbor Committee that was formed by the communities surrounding the coke plant and Clean Water Action in the late 1980's. The ACCAN mission is to support communities in their fight for better air quality and improved health outcomes.
Breathe Project is a clearinghouse for information on air quality in Pittsburgh, southwestern Pennsylvania and beyond. We use the best available science and technology to better understand the quality of the air we breathe and provide opportunities for citizens to engage and take action.
BCMAC – Beaver County Marcellus Awareness Community
The organization seeks to inform the citizens of Western Pennsylvania, specifically those in Beaver County, about Marcellus Shale unconventional gas drilling, and to protect our natural environment by promoting and supporting sustainable energy alternatives to carbon-based energy sources.
We fight for coalfield communities through advocacy, education, and organizing.

The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania (LWVPA) is a grassroots citizen engagement organization dedicated to encouraging informed and active participation in government by all Pennsylvanians, working to increase understanding of major local, state, and national public policy issues, and influencing public policy through education and advocacy. The League never supports or opposes a candidate or political party yet helps voters to learn about government issues and candidates.
MOB – Marcellus Outreach Butler
Marcellus Outreach Butler (MOB) is a grassroots environmental organization that was formed in 2010 by a group of concerned Butler County residents to educate and inform the public about the dangers of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking.
Moms Clean Air Force is a community of moms and dads united against air pollution – including the urgent crisis of our changing climate – to protect our children’s health. We arm members with reliable information and solutions through online resources, articles, action tools and on-the-ground events. Moms Clean Air Force is a special project of Environmental Defense Fund.
We are mothers, grandmothers, and other caregivers coming together to make climate change an issue that our leaders can no longer ignore. We are building a powerful grassroots movement to ensure a swift, complete, and just transition away from fossil fuels and toward clean and renewable energy. We need your help.
